A Great Britain Giveaway!
It’s been exactly 3 months since we landed in London for an epic family vacation so I thought it would be a lovely idea to mark the occasion by hosting a giveaway! Throughout our trip I collected a mish mash of souvenirs in order to have a giveaway that truly reflects all of England and Scotland. Check out what’s included!
Shakespeare magnetic insults
Use these 33 pre-cut magnetic phrases to express all kinds of displeasure!
Campbell’s Shortbread cookies
We ate tin after tin of shortbread cookies on our trip and they are SO delicious. These sweets are in the shape of Scottish kilts
Mulled Wine Mix by Old Hamlet Wine & Spice Company
This package smelled so heavenly that I got one for myself! Simply pour a bottle of your favorite red wine in a saucepan. Add the sachet of spices, heat gently and enjoy!
Handmade Glass Ornament by Bath Aqua Glass
This is another souvenir I purchased for myself. I collect Christmas ornaments on our adventures and was hesitant to buy something glass but the cashier assured me that these baubles were completely child-friendly and unbreakable. I actually dropped mine (purely by accident!) on the store’s wooden floor and she was right, these things are sturdy!
The Essential Roman Baths Guide
This was one of my favorite attractions in England and a must-see if you’re visiting Bath! This guide covers the history of the Roman Baths and what you can see at the attraction.
London Double Decker Ornament
Another ornament but of course I had to get something related to the iconic double decker buses of London! We rode one in London but unfortunately it was a newer model. We didn’t manage to find a vintage bus that was headed in the direction we needed to go
London English Tea
What’s a trip to England without tea? This is a tin of 10 classic style English tea bags to enjoy with those yummy shortbread cookies.
The Tale of Mrs. Tiggy Winkle by Beatrix Potter
Of course as a family travel blogger I have to include some child-friendly items! We visited the World of Beatrix Potter in the Lake District and Stink was enamored with Squirrel Nutkin but my favorite character is the hedgehog washerwoman Mrs. Tiggy Winkle.
This is a subtle way to get the winner of this giveaway hooked on Postcrossing but I’m including a handful of postcards. Beatrix Potter, Blenheim Palace, Paddington Bear and set of 8 postcards from the Disney movie Brave.
Scottish Wildflower Seed Packet
This wildflower mixture includes flowers such as poppy, baby’s breath, forget-me-nots, cornflowers and more!
This giveaway includes two magnets: one with a quote from Winston Churchill, one of Britain’s most famous prime ministers and one of a colorful painting of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland
Tartan Woven Coin Purse
This coin purse made of 100% wool, a classic souvenir you’ll find all over Scotland!
